My stay was beyond my dreams. Everyone was absolutely lovely, friendly, funny, and had a heart of service and a spirit of excellence. Accommodations were wonderful.

Our hosts at Bloemenzee Boutique B&B provided not only the most unforgettable location with fantastic rooms, garden and view over Gordons Bay into False Bay, but also with unbelievable hospitality and the perfect level of family integration and respect for privacy. The nearest airport is Cape Town International Airport, 27 km from the property. This place is immaculate. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, welcoming. Nice touches all over the place. The staff is lovely - both managers/reception and the cooking/cleaning staff were so friendly. The pool area is very relaxing. The view from many of the rooms face the mountains and are beautiful. Nice little touches like a bottle of wine decorated nicely in the room for my birthday. Extremely safe area, good security.

Extras include free toiletries and a hair dryer. The location is ideal. Gordon's Bay is a nice little town, not far from Cape Town or the airport. The setting is spectacular, with mountains and sea, and the beach is protected from major waves. There are a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance. The town is safe and the property secure. There is a beautiful drive along the coast towards Betty's Bay, which I highly recommend. There is a colony of African penguins there. Big Skies has a small pool, which we used in the heat of the afternoon. The breakfasts were very good, and there was a decent amount of variety. I enjoy the personal attention of guesthouses and small hotels, and Kobus and Irene were excellent hosts. Conversation at breakfast and the bar with them and other guests was enjoyable. Parking is inside the property gates and is secure.

The stylishly decorated rooms at the guest house open up onto patios and verandas with views of the mountains, lake and ocean. All rooms have indoor and outdoor seating areas, a private kitchenette, flat screen TV, free WiFi and private bathroom. Joanne, her husband Murray and the lovely staff members Lu and Violet were very friendly and accommodating. All the personal little touches made us feel at home right away. The room is very well equipped, situated in a great location with fantastic views and close proximity to sightseeings, shops and restaurants. We loved our stay and definitely would like to return asap. Thank you very much for making our stay so memorable and outstanding!
