It was surprisingly easy to find the Dosun considering all the smalls streets, stairs and alleyways. We arrived and welcomed by the hosts and they were very helpful in explaining what is available and where it was on a map when we checked in. They provided lovely egg sandwiches and coffee for breakfast. The room had a lovely view and was warm on the cold rainy nights we stayed. The beds are a little on the harder side but still comfortable.

Each room comes with a TV. Some rooms feature a seating area for your convenience. Rooms are equipped with a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find slippers, free toiletries and a hair dryer. Sunshine B&B features free WiFi throughout the property. The location couldn't have been better. I travelled with my elderly parents and wanted to be close to the old street without having to climb too many stairs. The owners were nice enough to give us the only room on the main floor. The room was spacious and the view was spectacular. The room and public areas were so clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also stellar and highlighted the essence of Taiwanese cuisine. From the decor to the quality of furniture and customer service, we could tell the owners put a lot of thought into running the b&b.

The property is perfect in every way, it’s like stepping into a completely different world. It creates a vibe that you live in the “spirited away” world. The location is super convenient, I walked to the old street in less than 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the quiet little town all by yourself before the tourists get in in the morning and after tourists leave at night. The host is super helpful when you need anything, you can also book day tours and massage to the room with the host. I’m extremely terrified of bugs, because this is in a forest and I was traveling by myself, that was a concern. But I didn’t encounter anything in my two nights of stay.

Super clean room with comfortable bed and excellent shower. Location is superb. Host and his family were extremely welcoming and excited to tell us about the area even with our lack of Chinese. This was our first stop in a new country and we tried to catch a bus and the sweet staff got us one with no problem with google translate. 😁 was very thankful

Very nice hotel and amenities. It is well located with beautiful view and within 5mins walking distance from Jiufen night market.
