Amazing property located very close to the city center (5-7 minutes' walk to the clock tower). Rooms are exceptionally clean with a very comfy bed. Breakfast is simple (eggs, toasts, a little bit of chicken with vege and tea/coffee), but still very tasty and fulfilling. Stuff is very friendly and welcoming (and very good in English which is not very common in Thailand). If I ever visit Chiang Rai again, I'll definitely stay at Baan Jaru.
