Torsby
Staying in a Historic (Est.1836) B&B, THE LODGE Torsby is situated 18 km north of Torsby, and 50 km from Sunne or Malung. Free Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property, and free private parking is available on site. So beautiful place, styled with very good taste. Good beds and view from the windows could not be better. Tasty breakfast decorated with friendly service. We can highly recommend this place.
Arvika
Located in a former schoolhouse dating back about 100 years, Guesthouse Eleven is situated in the picturesque village of Jössefors. Enjoy scenic surroundings and wonderful lake views just outside Arvika. a converted school building, it was conveniently located on our route to Norway. We found the Dutch owners very hospitable and going out of their way to please guests. Atmosphere as well as food (we had moose stew...) were very good, rooms clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Deje
Featuring a garden and views of garden, Tulip Adventure is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Deje, 36 km from Löfbergs Lila Arena. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace.

Great breakfast with both a Swedish and Dutch twist. The owners were kind and thoughtful. It was a delightful stay!

Delightfully located when we were visiting a horse-riding farm about 4 km from the Cafe. We were totally impressed with the exceptionally clean and well-laid out room. There was an ante-chamber to the actual room where you can easily get rid of all your shoes/muddy stuff and keep the actual room clean. Great space without the room, with adequate wardrobe space for two people for a short stay. We got organized in no time. Included in the offer, we had a generous assortment of candies/coffee/tea. The idea of having a cold sandwich in the fridge (also included in the price) was as original as we found it practical and thoughtful. The food from the kitchen of the bistro is also excellent! We tried the papegojekaka and it was really nice along with some of the fish soup that was unctuous and delicious. In the little place of Ekshärad, it is amazingly placed too, right across of a well-furnished grocery store (ICA) and next door to a decent restaurant (the Ayasofya). When we are travelling again to Yggenäs, we will definitely consider this place again, if I am alone or with my wife. Especially since this stay was amazingly affordable.
Asphyttan
You can engage in various activities, such as skiing and cycling. The bed and breakfast also offers free use of bicycles. Kristinehamn is 39 km from Bergsmansgårdens Gästhus, while Karlskoga is 43 km away. The warmest welcome we have ever had. I cannot recommend this location more. The owners are two of the most friendliest people we have ever met. After a week in the wilderness we were able to wash our clothes, charge our car and much more.
Ekshärad
All units include a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area, and a private bathroom, while some feature a balcony or a patio. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. The units are equipped with heating facilities. Everything. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Very quiet area. We have stayed here before and intend to do so again.

Quite near city center (1 km) and a very lovely neighbourhood, old houses, quietness. The house is old and should be renovated, still it works fine for a visit of one or few days.
The owners were really nice and friendly as well as their two cats. They were willing to drive us from the station and back for a small fee. We were offered some rich and tasty homemade breakfast. They were mindful of allergies. We were also invited to a small café, where their choir leader sang some country classics. The bathroom was private, it was very clean and well equipped. The view was great and unforgettable. It was very quiet and peaceful compared to other accommodations located in the town. We really enjoyed our stay.
Charming hotel – interestingly decorated ground-floor rooms in the main house, comfortable lounge in the annex building, quietness (there were very few other guests when we stayed though), views over the Byälven river, easy parking, walking distance to town centre (approx. 25 mins), friendly manager.
Very calm and nice location. There were many different cabins, so depending on which you take the facilities might differ. We had a bit more expensive cabin with private bathroom and larger kitchen, which was very nice. Very quiet area. Rooms had electric heaters so it’s not cold nor moist. Were able to check in late and it was rather convinient. The property had free wifi.

Great location. Clean. Cheaper than other (totally overpriced!) Karlstad hotels. The bathroom shower is a little strange (see photo), but it actually works fine.
