We are able to walk to everything easily- the historical landmarks, supermarkets. etc The staff were also very communitive and helpful, except for some booking.com glitches. Parking was very easy. It wasn't on site but it was very close to the apartment. The only thing is that this apartment has no elevator. Keep this in mind if you have large suitcase. Despite that, it was great!

The room is very spacious and comfortable, with good sound isolation which allows for you to sleep peacefully, even if there are energetic kids in the next room!

Our stay at this well located and beautifully restored home of a revered Viseu teacher/archaeologist has been a highlight of our travels around Portugal. This is a family owned and run hotel and pride of ownership is clearly evident. The family was so gracious and kind and we learned so much about life in this region from them. The lovely, spacious room and large bathroom were immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Our stay was perfect and we look forward to returning!
