We had some questions about facilities in David for our second visit, and they especially looked up information and made phone calls for us, and stayed in contact with us before our second visit. We had a little more time during our second visit. Because we weren't leaving so early, we got a proper little breakfast, with coffee, freshly-pressed orange juice, and a cheese sandwich. It was also a great opportunity to chat with other travelers and with our hosts. Overall, we really enjoyed our two stays at Residencial Coya and would definitely stay there again the next time we're in David.

The owners are very warm and hospitable and also helped us by ordering us a decent priced taxi for the next leg of our journey.

The spacious bungalows at this property are air-conditioned and feature a private terrace overlooking the water. They come equipped with a wardrobe, dressing room and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Everything about this place! First time but will for sure not be the last. The staff, service, cleanliness and comfort of the rooms was great. Plus, the menu and food at their restaurant were excellent. My oldest son got to see all kinds of animals during our stay (specially the howler monkeys) which made it even more special.

The property is very beautiful, lush green vegetation. My children loved watching the monkeys while swimming in the pool. My son enjoyed fishing on the pier. A small breakfast of fruit, toast and hard boiled eggs were available every morning. A two minute walk to the resort next door with fine dining and a tiki bar. Brad the owner even helped me arrange a sportfishing charter when my boat cancelled last minute. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here.
