We were upgraded to the suite and it's one of the most amazing room we have ever been. The best room for our honeymoon.

All units will provide guests with a fridge. Everything was just super! Especially starting with the host. She was unique, very nice, talkative. Gave us a lot of usefull information and guidelines. You will not find such people in normal reception at hotel.

Ski-to-door access is available on-site and both hiking and walking tours can be enjoyed within close proximity of Varangertunet bed & breakfast. One of the best places we ever visited. Our apartment was lovely and had everything you need during your stay. Owners were super friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious.

Skagakaia is located in Bø i Vesterålen. Offering a restaurant, serving breakfast and dinner based on local ingredients and tradition. WIFi, parking and bed linen are free. Guest rooms have either shared or private bathroom facilities, and all bathrooms have underfloor heating. Certain rooms have a sea view. Everything. This place is a GEM. It’s a bit out there, but I like places that are a bit more removed. The view is spectacular, the room was clean and comfortable. Additionally, I arrived super late due to ferry schedules and was met by the owner who recognized I’d not eaten and made me dinner. We sat up and chatted for ages, she was so kind. It’s been just amazing and I can’t recommend this place enough.

The hosts were exceptionally kind, the entire place was luxurious, homely, and modern - but traditionally Scandinavian. An extensive and quality breakfast, including eggs fresh from their own chickens - which left us full enough for an entire day of hiking.
