Assendelft
Boutique B&B Dolce Due is set in Assendelft, 20 km from A'DAM Lookout, 21 km from Amsterdam Central Station, as well as 22 km from Anne Frank House. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast has a sun terrace and spa facilities. We stayed at the due ensuite. We had an amazing time. Everything was spotless and VERY welcoming. Contrary to previous reviews I have read, the landlady didn't crowd our breakfast times at all and made sure she was going to the garden to water the plants or doing things next door. She has been very helpful every time we needed to ask her for advice and I truly recommend that you go there. The location is amazing as it is only ten minutes from the lovely windmills. You can easily park in the street or on the supermarket free carpark opposite the road. On her advice, we took the car to the krommieren Assendelft park and ride carpark and hopped on the train to Assendelft for 20 euros for a day return for the two of us. Trains run from 6am to 2 am. The ride lasts a bit less than 30 minutes. Thanks for everything Cynthia!

We had the most wonderful time at Margreet and Ronald’s lovely B&B.
They are very carrying and thoughtful, the breakfast is amazing (and veggie friendly) and the river view is precious. The mattress was so comfortable that we even overslept! We can feel that they put a lot of love, time and dedication to their project. We hope life will give us the chance to come again, in the meanwhile, we are gonna recommend the place to our loved ones :)
Zaandam
The spacious bed and breakfast features a cable flat-screen TV. The kitchenette has an oven, a microwave and a fridge and there is a private bathroom with bathrobes and a hair dryer. The property has an outdoor dining area. Gabrielle was a fantastic host. She warmly welcomed us and provided recommendations of sites to visit and places to eat. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The private garden was a lovely place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely go back!

We found it to be very peaceful, really cute and comfortable, all be it small. The owners were soo very nice and hospitable we would love to be able to stay here again!!!

We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is so beautiful. From the moment you see it in its traditional glory and then you enter into a modern luxurious hotel. It is wonderful and the rooms are beautiful, spacious and have everything you need on a short trip. The location is perfect, right beside the train station, with an outdoor shopping facility, just a stones throw away, and a short cheap train ride to Amsterdam Central. This is the ideal spot if you want to be in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle.
Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice. Large spacious bedroom and bathroom with all amenities including a nespresso machine. Great location only a few minutes walk from the station.
Nice looking and modern rooms. No problem with late check in. Staff very friendly. Beds very comfy. Central location in charming city of Zandaam 20 min by car from city centre of Amsterdam.
Room was quiet..cheaper than Amsterdam Summer prices...
The location at the Golden Zaan was very good. The train station was about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel, and from there you could get cheap trains all across the country. The neighbourhood was charming and quiet, and there were nice places to eat within a 1-5 minute walk. About 7 minutes away there was a very lively area with a number of classy restaurants with street seating and indoor seating. It was also close to a very pretty canal.
nice place to stay a bit out of the city center. near the train station and just in front of a grocery store. perfect place to stay in amsterdam if you want a quiet yet lovely place.
Great location Just 5 minutes walk from the train station & 15 minutes into Amsterdam Centraal with trains every 15 minutes. Good size room,great shower, fridge, temperature control in the room & very quiet at night. Much more economical than staying in Amsterdam
Very good hotel, totally worth its price. We had very big and comfortable bed. Various breakfast. Parking near hotel is provided, but it’s not free. Very good location - the surroundings are very quiet however there are lots of restaurants nearby and good big supermarket. It was easy to reach the city center with public transport - hotel is located right near the station.
Nice and quiet room, with wonderful view on the city and countryside. Parking free of charge in city center is a plus also
