Boutique B&B Dolce Due is set in Assendelft, 20 km from A'DAM Lookout, 21 km from Amsterdam Central Station, as well as 22 km from Anne Frank House. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast has a sun terrace and spa facilities. We stayed at the due ensuite. We had an amazing time. Everything was spotless and VERY welcoming. Contrary to previous reviews I have read, the landlady didn't crowd our breakfast times at all and made sure she was going to the garden to water the plants or doing things next door. She has been very helpful every time we needed to ask her for advice and I truly recommend that you go there. The location is amazing as it is only ten minutes from the lovely windmills. You can easily park in the street or on the supermarket free carpark opposite the road. On her advice, we took the car to the krommieren Assendelft park and ride carpark and hopped on the train to Assendelft for 20 euros for a day return for the two of us. Trains run from 6am to 2 am. The ride lasts a bit less than 30 minutes. Thanks for everything Cynthia!

The spacious bed and breakfast features a cable flat-screen TV. The kitchenette has an oven, a microwave and a fridge and there is a private bathroom with bathrobes and a hair dryer. The property has an outdoor dining area. We liked everything, which is rare for a travel experience as we have many places to compare it with. First of all, Gabrielle (the host) is incredible as a person, and we had a great time just chatting with her. Secondly, she maintains not only the BnB itself in excellent condition but also a workshop for crafts, a tea garden that doubles as an outdoor café, a small cozy antique/crafts shop, and, as a bonus, a very well-maintained decorative chicken coop with some very cuddly chickens. Crucial to mention that we had a private zone attached to the BnB, and the rest of the facilities did not interfere with our space. Thirdly, the handmade breakfast Gabrielle prepares is something to die for—I can't remember many high class hotels offering this level of variety and serving it so well. We couldn't finish most of it, so it also served as brunch to go for us. Last but not least, the atmosphere at the BnB is incredibly relaxing, and we wish we had taken some extra time just to hang out there, use the sauna, and chill both inside and outside. Thanks, Gabrielle! You will definitely see us again!
Assendelft
Bikes are available to rent for free at this bed and breakfast and the area is popular for cycling. The picturesque residential area of Zaansche Schans is 6 km away, while the nearest beach is 12 km for the property. Schiphol Airport is 34 km from B&B Saense huisje. It’s a beautiful place , peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The hosts are very nice and welcoming, we have spent a wonderful time there.
Wormer
The spacious bed and breakfast is equipped with a flat-screen TV. A private entrance leads guests into the bed and breakfast, where they can enjoy some fruits and chocolates or cookies. The property offers river views. The space we rented is the old living quarter of the skipper on a vintage barge, including the wheelhouse, which is turned into a pleasant comfortable veranda. There is a nice living room and an intimate, comfortable bedroom, so pleasant to stay in. The view over the Zaan canal, to the old city is charming. One can park the car just in front of the gangway, which is a plus. We came to the Netherlands, especially for this barge and we did like it as an experience. The owners were so pleasant to deal with, always reachable on the phone and so helpful during our stay. Thank you for the wonderful time!

This hotel is so beautiful. From the moment you see it in its traditional glory and then you enter into a modern luxurious hotel. It is wonderful and the rooms are beautiful, spacious and have everything you need on a short trip. The location is perfect, right beside the train station, with an outdoor shopping facility, just a stones throw away, and a short cheap train ride to Amsterdam Central. This is the ideal spot if you want to be in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle.

The location at the Golden Zaan was very good. The train station was about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel, and from there you could get cheap trains all across the country. The neighbourhood was charming and quiet, and there were nice places to eat within a 1-5 minute walk. About 7 minutes away there was a very lively area with a number of classy restaurants with street seating and indoor seating. It was also close to a very pretty canal.
I was there for two days …… place is pretty clean . Hotel located in a calm and quiet neighbourhood. They have restaurant and offers a decent menu and compared to the near by it’s cheap . My bill was included breakfast options and offered pretty decent breakfast . Hotel located outside Amsterdam area and there is direct bus from sloterdik railway station and it will take 20 to 30 minutes to reach . Staff of the hotel are really friendly and helpful .
