The roof top at the top of the medina was outstanding with great views over the entire medina and the bay, a great place for reflection for history lovers.

Rooms at Dar Echchaouen Maison d'Hôtes & Riad are air-conditioned and decorated in traditional Moroccan style. Each room and suite has a private bathroom featuring a shower with tadelakt tiles. The suites have a sitting area and fireplace. The hotel was beautiful. Very well maintained and an amazing setting. The staff were great and very friendly and helpful. We only had one night but would have loved to have stayed for longer.

We paid around 20 MAD for taxi from CTM to the guesthouse. There is a staircase going down to the hotel but the host really kind of helping us to bring the big luggages down. Very convenient location, walking distance to almost everywhere. There is no aircond in the room but a portable fan, but trust me, it’s freezing even with the small fan. Simple Moroccan breakfast was served too.
