Set in Lucea in the Hanover region, Blue Paloma Bed & Breakfast has a patio. This bed and breakfast features a pool with a view, a garden and free private parking. Though our stay at Blue Paloma was a short phase 😊, it has definitely left a lasting and fantastic impression. The bluish-gray roof and walls of the Paloma greeted us as we approached the corner. It was exactly as pictured and advertised. Upon driving in, it felt like we were coming home. And then, once we met Andrea, Tania, and Chef Conroy, it definitely felt like home. We felt so welcomed, comfortable, taken care of and safe. The property is nicely decorated, has all the comforts of home, is very clean and well-maintained. Two of our favorite spots were the spacious and relaxing upstairs living room/sitting area and the large upstairs balcony overlooking the neighborhood. I also loved that our room had a balcony that allowed us to enjoy the outdoors from the privacy of our room. Hopefully next time it will be sunny so we can enjoy the pool. And, let me tell you, the food was divine! I wish we had more days there to indulge in chef Conroy’s breakfasts and dinners. Everything …including the juices and salad dressings are from scratch. We will most definitely be staying here again soon and will highly recommend it to our family and friends!

Polkerris Bed & Breakfast is a walking distance from Aqua Sol Theme Park and 3.2 km from Sangster International Airport. Montego Bay City Centre is 1 km away. You couldn’t ask for a better view of Montego Bay! It was very quite and the atmosphere was intimate. The location is far enough from the hip strip but not too far from the beach. Also- can’t believe all the amazing reviews? THEY ARE TRUE!! You must stay here for your trip to Montego Bay.

A toaster, a fridge and kitchenware are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the guest house, each unit includes bed linen and towels. We were delighted to find our room so clean and well decorated. Antoinette had made towel swans and even a towel frog for our kids. She had filled the jacuzzi with rose petals in the shape of a heart and balloons. It was such a great welcome to a beautiful house with a beautiful host. She was always available to help and give advice. She walked with us and showed us all the shops, she even drove us to the beach and helped us with our laundry.

The hosts Paula & Eric were so responsive to my text with questions prior to my arrival. Booked an airport pickup with Eric and he was there even though my flight was slightly delayed. Room was spacious and clean and the neighborhood is quiet with a few minutes drive from the beach. The property is gated so as a solo traveller I felt safe at all times. It felt like a home away from home. I ordered a Jamaican breakfast the first morning. It was very tasty. The portion size was huge, so you could skip lunch quite easily. They were on hand to give advice on travel if you were unsure and would always encourage you to ring them if you encounter any problems. They were so accommodating and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property, shame it was such a short visit for a family funeral.
