After confirming the reservation, we received a detailed e-mail from the accommodation. These information were delicate services that no hotel had The accommodation has a terrace with a burst ocean view, so we can see Panarea and Stromboli. Our room is very clean as a suit room, and furniture and bedding are arranged making the most of the space. As soon as we arrived, the owner was served a self baked cake and coffee, and we received meticulous service. With her help, we were able to use a rental car to visit the nearby Pollara. We were also able to enjoy a wealth of breakfast, including homemade bread and fresh juice. I want to rate it as the best accommodation for this trip. Opening onto a large shaded terrace with a private area for each of them, guest rooms at B&B Le Sette Vele have Mediterranean-style décor and tiled floors. They are surrounded by a garden with sun terrace. The location, with a view of Stromboli and Panarea from the terrace was amazing. A shady private terrace/patio to relax on was wonderful, as was the surprise jacuzzi! The rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean, with a mini kitchen hidden in a roll top ‘cupboard.’ Breakfast was good and plentiful, complemented by wonderful sea views. The hosts are lovely, always had a smile, and were very enthusiastic in their recommendations of places to visit. I really wish I could have stayed longer!

Honestly, no complaints about this place. We would gladly love to return for a longer stay!! To just explore the island more or simply enjoy the quiet Italian village life :) p.s. what you see on the internet is indeed how it looks - the place looks straight out of interior magazine catalogue, we're even inspired to remodel our bathroom to look like theirs! Really impeccable taste - kudos to whoever designed and curated the place.

Breakfast was delicious! Everything was homemade and there was an unbelievable assortment of fruit, yogurt, fresh sandwiches, homemade pastries, granita, and brioche. Coffee or cappuccino was made upon request and was delicious!

Maria was a delightful hostess who made the stay comfortable and welcoming. We had a fabulous roomy balcony that looked out to the sea below.

Rooms at Il Gelso all have a private entrance from a patio area and come with a fridge and private bathroom. Almost all have a view of the Mediterranean Sea. The accommodation in a beautiful spot in Malfa, close to the beach and town. The view from the breakfast deck was beautiful. Also, I was unwell when we were meant to checkout and Gianfranco very kindly let us use the room for half a day and helped us with transportation. He was always on hand to help with anything we needed and made our stay.
