I woke up at 3 pm...there was an absolute silence.. i love silence..i made an audio recording of 1 min of it...i stayed awake for an hour, just enjoying the total absence of noise pollution. It was fantastic! The host understood i was in a hurry to get to the vineyards before sunset, he was very accommodating to explain everything quickly so i can get going. The apt is close to the shopping area & to Ötzi as well.

Less than 100 metres from the Rosskopf ski slope, Steindl's B&B is a 5-minute walk from Vipiteno town centre. It boasts rooms with Sterzing Mountain and town views, and a buffet breakfast. Ski storage is also available. I loved the decor of the room. Alpine style with a modern touch. Perfect beds, very nice bathroom. A nice little bar with great staff. They even had a dog bar in the garage. And the breakfast, I never got a breakfast like this in a hotel. Totaly my style. Small little pieces of everthing, you can´t eat it all. There where so many thing to choose. A little morning paper at breakfast at each table, with the weather, thing to do etc. It´s just a short walking distance to the city centre with a lot of nice restaurants. It´s very easy to get from and to the high way,

New, super clean, modern conveniences, beautiful atmosphere, and a good breakfast. Our one night here was the most luxurious of our two week trip.

Ameiserhof is beautiful and spotless inside and out, authentically built and designed in the most tasteful Tirolean style. Our rooms were perfectly setup with all amenities for a most comfortable stay. But most wonderful of all was the host who provided every guest with attention, knowledgeable advice and suggestions for restaurants, shops and events in the area. The breakfast offering she provided was spectacular, making the best decorated cappuccinos and lattes we have ever seen. Breakfast included a huge assortment of breakfast meats and cheeses with wide varieties of breads, fruits and pasteries. What was most impressive was this hosts ability to offer a multi-course dinner and dessert with an assortment of mixed drinks and beers that will knock your socks off. To add to all of this, our host helped us out with ensuring we made our 5:00 am train in Bolzano by fixing us breakfast at 3:30 AM- WOW!!! She also arranged a taxi at 4:00 am!! What a FABULOUS TIME!!! If you make the wise decision to visit Colalbo, Italy- you MUST plan to stay at AMEISERHOF!!!
