Location was very nice and the views of snow covered mountains was breathtaking and it was just 2 mins walk from main road, rooms were neat and clean and caretaker was humble and disciplined and breakfast and dinner provided by caretaker was so yummy and its gives authentic local taste. There was a stream near to this property and you can hear stream sound which feels so relaxing. Bhagirathi river is just a 5-7 mins walk from this property and anyone can go there through apple orchards and a suspension bridge and enjoy the views. There is also a very ancient old temple "Kalp Kedar" located just 5 mins walk from this property where you can sit and medicate and feel spritual vibes.

They organised a taxi to pick me up from the airport, and the a porter came to meet the taxi and help me with my bags. I had a balcony room with a view over the rooftops and mountains. Very clean room comfortable bed, lovely hot water. The walk to the main street is less than 5 minutes. There is a kitchen here if you want to cook for yourself. I ended up staying here for 3.5 weeks because I was so comfortable I didn't want to move. Amazing place, great hosts, clean rooms and linen (sometimes hard to find in India. Highly recommend. I will be back

Set within 20 km of Gun Hill Point, Mussorie and 5.9 km of Dehradun Clock Tower, vera home stay offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Dehradun. Initially when I saw the reviews I was sceptical that a home stay could be so good and booked it with great hesitation! During our stay, the hospitality and warmth that we received was simply bowled us over! Every small need of ours was catered to in super quick time, every request was delivered with a smile. The Magician behind this is Ms Sonya who makes all this happen with her band of loyal, ever-smiling employees. We were given so much choice for food selection and we savored some Bengali style dishes (very new for a Keralite). She is so kind hearted and accommodating that she offered to take Mom to a Dr in her own vehicle when she felt unwell. We were admiring her Mango tree for a bit and lo behold... Cut mangoes in individual plates arrive for all of us! I know this is an exceedingly long review by usual standards, but I want you to know why I have rated this flawless stay 10/10! I almost forgot to mention the beautiful garden and lovely pack of domesticated dogs there. They were the topping on top of my super sweet sundae. I conclude as no one has the patience to read so much these days. Sonya ma'am thank you for the most memorable stay of our lives and we look forward to staying with you in Oct-Nov again this year.

Cosy place and very affordable. Mehra uncle is very welcoming and feels like home. We just have to wait for ISBT to be built then accessibility would be better.
