The nearest airport is Shannon Airport, 109 km from the bed and breakfast. Beautiful B and B with historical connections to the Bronte’s. Our host was really welcoming and made us feel at home.

Joe and Jackie were amazing hosts! They let us borrow two umbrellas and gave us a charger we were missing for my daughter’s headphones. They also helped make dinner reservations at Fallons Bar in nearby Shannonbridge and then confirmed a band playing in the Killen’s Pub next door to that so we got an authentic Irish experience! We stayed here because it’s halfway between the Cliffs of Moher and Dublin. We did Dublin one day and the Cliffs another. Worked perfect for us. And we even visited Clonmacnoise that is right next door which was great. Also, the breakfast was great and they were VERY flexible on what time to have breakfast ready for us which was perfect. Highly recommended!

Hosts recommended a nice restaurant in walking distance where we dined.

Some very nice places to walk/hike and not far from Tullamore if you want to visit a pub or shop. Dan & Molly’s Pub nearby is a great pub not far from the B&B.
