Jacquie greeted us outside of the regular check-in times and was super welcoming and gave great recommendations of things to do in the area. We are fans of sustainability and really like that The Pipers Rest e.g. tries to minimize food waste and hands out oder forms for breakfast the night before. We were really happy to also see vegetarian options on the menu! The food was very tasty, as well. (Just a suggestion for the future: eliminate the paper forms and maybe implement a QR code-based ordering system to make it even more sustainable). The room was great and had very comfy beds. Plus, the location is perfect - our main goal was to see The Cliffs of Moher. We wish we stayed a little bit longer to soak in everything Doolin has to offer!!! :)

The owner is a very nice, warm, smiling and helpful person. She was very kind and helpful, she gave us information on how to get around the area and what was worth seeing. She took us from the bus stop to her house in her car and took us back to the bus stop. The hostess prepares delicious food, we had a clean room with a sea view. there is also a parking lot for cars. The breakfast was delicious especially the overnight oats with yogurt and rhubarb compote. The pains au chocolat were scrumptious. The place is quiet close to the sea you can hear it. We felt really calm and rejuvenated. Jonny was super helpful with various hiking ideas and places to eat. The check-in and out was easy and fuss-free. One word, stellar.
