Beautiful peaceful location but not too remote from bars or places to eat. Very friendly (but not intrusive) host who gave us a great welcome, a good breakfast and lots of good advice.

Situated in Bunacurry, Monastery View offers free WiFi and onsite parking. Featuring views over the Franciscan Monestery of St Joseph's Church, it is just 8 minutes' drive from Achill Golf Club.
In the mornings, guests at Monastery View can enjoy full cooked breakfast in the bright dining room. The property also offers a shared lounge and an ironing service.
Welcoming hosts, clean rooms with a great view, and tasty/filling breakfast. Will return when I come to Achill the next time. Highly recommend.
Achill Sound
Hy Breasal B&B is situated close to the end of the Great Western Greenway, which is a 42 km-long route for walkers and cyclists. Free on-site parking is available and shops & bars can be found in the surrounding village. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The location was very convenient for local shops and pubs. The owners were excellent hosts.

With stunning, themed rooms ranging from Venetian to ancient Chinese, fantastic views are offered at this Achill Island bed and breakfast. Guests can enjoy late check-out. Best breakfast in Ireland, perfect eggs Benedict and a large selection of other choices Charming hosts who give excellent recommendations about what to see and do in the region. Highly recommended

Each bedroom at Teach Cruachán Bed and Breakfast is individually decorated in warm tones, and have either mountain or sea views. A TV, radio and complimentary toiletries are included in the rooms.
Breakfast was very tasty. Good conversations with hosts. We could make ourselves tea/coffee.

Lavelle's Seaside House & Mickey's Bar offers accommodation in the village of Dooega, 7 km from Achill Sound. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

Excellent breakfast, room spotless, very quiet. Anne is a wonderful person and looked after us extremely well, we had a fantastic stay.The house is in a great location with stunning views.
Nice room in a quiet location just off the main road, private parking, comfortable beds. The landlady made us feel welcome and gave helpful recommendations on touring the island. Tasty Irish breakfast is served in the morning.

Great location, close to everything we wanted to see. Quiet, with great views. Varied selection for breakfast. It was like staying over at a friend's house as Jake welcomed us warmly and encouraged us to have the run of the place.

Anvil House is an ideal base for visits to Achill whether for walking, cycling or a relaxation stay. Very private, quiet and safe location and only a few minutes cycle to the Great Western Greenway. Pubs and Hotels are also near-by for late meals and entertainment. A wonderful B&B, everything was spotless, comfortable beds with an excellent Breakfast, good value too. And Kieran is a very helpful host. Will be back.
Lovely room, comfy bed, great views. Warm and cosy. Nice little touches like toiletries and water provided in room. Owners were lovely. We arrived early to drop off bags as we were cycling- this was no problem they even offered us tea. Breakfast was freshly cooked with several choices. Buffet included fresh fruit salad. Would highly recommend. This is what all b and b s should be like.
