Bambang was an attentive host, speaks excellent English, and is always willing to help out with whatever you might need. The house has various sitting areas inside and out, a koi pond, and is on a quiet lane just off a main street with shops, restaurants, etc. A huge and delicious Indonesian breakfast is provided (and is different every day!), plus there are free 24 hour snacks and drinks. Also we hired an English speaking guide and driver to take us to our next stay at Borobudur for a very reasonable price. He lives right next door.

The owner is very nice and helpful, he cooked for us an amazing breakfast. Was so yummy that we order another breakfast 🤓 Everything is clean and smell good. There is not hot shower but the water is not so cold. I recommend.

At the guest house, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels. It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

This bed and breakfast has water sports facilities and free use of bicycles and car hire are available. Alun Alun Kidul and Malioboro shopping street are a 30-minute drive from Ada Waktu Villa, while Kaliurang is 30 km from the property. Adisucipto Airport is 10 km away. All was Great . Personel was amazing, helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast. I can highly recommend this place.

Extremely helpful and nice owner: he took us to the nice restaurant, to the louwak coffee plantation owner, he picked us up at the gate of Prambanan temple and drove to two other temples. Really great, open, outgoing man, smiling all the time! He also asked his wife to cook traditional indonesian dinner for us! Thank you so much for everything :)

Andy and his family wlecomed us not just as guests but as part of their group of friends. They are all musicians and artists, so you get immediatly included in the best circle of people in Yogyakarta. Besides, their suggestions for what to do and see were always spot on. The village where the property is located is famous for its craftsmen, especially potters and basket makers, and there are plenty of wonderful places to see around. The place is a 15 min ride to the city on motorbike (very easy to get a Grab or Gojek for a couple of euros). The houses Andy built are beautiful and confortable, made with old carved wood pieces repurposed from other buildings. If you are interested in a off-turistic experience, I highly recommend staying here.
