There’s no lie in the name; it has the most amazing view on the ocean, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful sunset with a cold Bintang. We had an amazing traditional dinner (some of the best food we tasted in West-Sumatra) & felt so welcomed by the whole family. We fell in love with Rocky, the house dog, who will guide you on any walk & find his way back when you decide to take a coffee break :) Stayed for 6 nights, Could not recommend more! THE BEST!

The staff were incredibly kind, and it was wonderful to hang out with them in the common area. They were also very helpful with everything we needed. Our jungle trekking experience with them was absolutely awesome! Huge thanks to all the guides at Cheeky Monkeys. We highly recommend staying here; the rooms are comfortable, the common areas are inviting, and the garden is simply astonishing.

The property was very nice and clean! Deluxe room is very spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view. You could even see different animals from the balcony. Obiwan and his team were so kind and helpful. We really felt like they treated us as family instead of guests. Very genuine people. Their jungle trek is the best! They know the jungle so well and also treat the animals respectfully.

Nachelle Homestay was an amazing experience. Mery and Abdy go above and beyond to help you during your stay. Besides explaning all the facilities/activities in the village, there are options to have delicious breakfast and diner at the homestay. We did the Gunung Sibayak volcano tour together with Abdy, which was fantastic. You will explore the volcano during sunrise, learn a lot about the surroundings and laugh with Abdy.
