Truly lovely staff who had gone out of their way for us and there was some special cider left in our room and a cider cake for our honeymoon. All in all couldnt be better! Stunning location also, very peaceful.

Caldicot Castle is 10 km from the accommodation. The nearest airport is Bristol Airport, 42 km from No8 Chepstow. Very comfortable and roomy. The common area is a bonus with a full kitchen for guests use and a front parlor area too. Lots of character and a great location.

From the B&B, South Herefordshire Golf Club is 5 minutes’ drive away. The city of Hereford is a 22-minute journey by car and Cheltenham Racecourse is 45 minutes’ drive away. From the moment we drove up the driveway we knew we had made a great decision booking a stay in Iola's home. She was extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful and the view of the countryside outstanding. Brekkie was wholesome and feeling. Left feeling content ... sad we weren't staying longer. Highly recommend The Coach House if you're looking for a lovely night/s away from the ratrace.

Newly refurbished, Torlands is a stylish B&B set just 2 minutes’ drive from the town of Monmouth. It offers guests free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access. There is also a lounge and a sun terrace.

From the B&B, Monmouth Golf Club is just 2 miles away. The Forest of Dean is a 17-minute journey by car and Goodrich Castle ruins are also 15 minutes’ drive away. Supremely comfy bed in a immaculately clean room. Bharat was super accommodating even though we'd arrived unexpectedly early and showed us around the house- beautiful and clean place with some lovely communal spaces such as a balcony to sit outside on and a cosy looking lounge. These places and our room also afforded excellent views of the hills around Monmouth, I don't think I could get tired of the view if I'd stayed a week! For those coming from Offa's Dyke walk, it's just a jaunt up the hill from town and doesn't take long to walk there. Breakfast was large and excellent and accommodated us vegetarians.

Lea House Bed and Breakfast is a former 16th-century coaching inn which features a walled garden, free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking. Many original features have been retained, such as exposed beams, an inglenook fireplace and antiques. Lovely comfy bed. Superb breakfast and friendly proprietors who couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be using again.

The light and airy rooms feature a TV, ironing equipment and tea/coffee-making facilities. They include a private bathroom with a hairdryers and free toiletries. Great location to do lake walk, canoe or paddleboard right out the front of the accommodatiin. Fantastic breakfast huge selectiin and super nice staff at breakfast and check in.

Rooms at The Saracen feature tea/coffee facilities and a TV. Most rooms also offer lovely river views. Room was awesome. View was superb. Facilities in room were great. Staff at the pub were very freindly and engaging and great service. Food was above my expectations

All of the light and airy rooms at Norton House provide in-room private bathrooms, TVs, Tea & Coffee making facilities. Norton House Bed & Breakfast & Cottages also offers The Cider Loft and Apple Store which are self-catering cottages. Everything about this accommodation was exceptional. We got a great welcome from Craig (with tea and cake) and plenty of advice on local eateries and places to visit. The king sized four poster bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was amazing - definitely the best breakfast of our holiday!
