Located in Whitby, 2.3 km from Whitby Beach, Greystones guesthouse provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. On arrival, we were shown our room and asked what time we would like our breakfast, we was given a booklet of Whitby which had a map of the town. Marty explained how we could get into town if walking, bus or driving. Places in and around town we could visit. We were able to park onsite for free. The room was large and with en- suite shower, immaculately clean, modern and comfortable, well furnished and decorated. It has a TV, table and chairs, mini fridge stocked with milk and a couple of bottles of water. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and a packet of biscuits, kettle, 2 x cups and 2 x glasses, hairdryer, towels, small soap, mini shampoo and conditioner. Continental breakfast was delivered to our room at a prearranged time of our choosing. They give a little knock so not to disturb us and it is left outside the room. Breakfast comes on a nice white tray on separate legs. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and each day Is slightly different. You get a good variety and plenty of food. The property isn't far from whitby town. A bit of a steep hill when walking back, however there is a bus stop directly outside the property or you can get a taxi. If walking it doesn't take long, about 20 minutes. From the time we arrived to the time we left our hosts Marty and Jo were exceptional, approachable and friendly We definitely will stay again if in the area.

Boasting a terrace and views of quiet street, Birtley House Bed and Breakfast is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Robin Hood's Bay, 400 metres from Robin Hood's Bay. Breakfast was great - many choices were offered. Darren and Anna are great hosts. We would definitely stay at Birtley House again!
