However, without a doubt, this was the most memorable of them all - and the bar had been set quite high with many of our previous B&B experiences. From the moment we walked in, we sensed that this place was special. Paddy is the 'ultimate host'. His welcome was like none other, and we felt 'at home' within minutes. The place is immaculate, and our room was extremely comfortable...with views that were among the best in all of Ireland. The sitting area outside our bedroom was beyond comfortable...a little fireplace, refrigerator, and a magnificent view. Paddy and Tracey have thought of everything - Our only regret is that Tracey was visiting family in the states when we were there - we definitely need to return to meet Tracey. And did I mention that the sheets were the best smelling sheets I have EVER enjoyed! Also, our cooked to order breakfast was outstanding! We hope to return soon. Thank you for everything!

The property features quiet street views, and is 39 km from The Cathedral of Saint Patrick and Saint Colman. Every thing was great and host was great and considerate to my requests for checkin late and the breakfast was too 👍

Tollyrose Country House is set a few minutes’ walk from Tollymore Forest Park. The family-run bed and breakfast is located next to the Mourne Mountains. Within 5 km of the property you will find Newcastle coastal town, Royal Country Down Golf Course, Murlough Beach and Slieve Donard Mountain. The property is also 7 km away from Dundrum Castle. We had a phantastic stay! Helen was really friendly and helpful, we felt at home right away. The room was spacious, spottles clean with a really comfortable bed. The breakfast was outstanding, probably the best we had during our two week stay (and the others weren't bad either ;) ). Just acroos the street there is an entrance to the beautiful Tollymore Forest Park.

The B&B is located in front of a marvelous sea scenario. Very kind host. The breakfast served was really good.

The Sands B&B in Rostrevor, County Down is found beside the sea in Victoria Square. It’s a 5-minute walk from the village, and rooms have beautiful views of the sea and Mourne Mountains.

There is a big breakfast choice at The Sands, with a full cooked Irish breakfast, continental with cold meats and cheese, and a vegetarian option. There is also fruit juice, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt and toast. The rooms were large and clean. Our hosts John and Ann were great…attentive and great information.
