I loved the little extras, there was a Christmas tree in our room, my little boy loved it. The complimentary drink was a lovely touch. The breakfast was great for it only being continental, great selection of breads and fruit, yogurt etc. The views were beautiful, a great location. Only a few minutes drive into town but felt like we were a million miles away. The host was a lovely guy, very welcoming and friendly. Asked us throughout our stay were we OK, warm enough etc. The rooms were toasty warm, we were there in December so it was great to get back into our rooms knowing the beds were so comfy and warm. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Located in Annalong and only 33 km from Down Cathedral, Marine Villa B&B provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. A lovely location and the host was very helpful with recommendations for hiking in the Mournes. It was a delicious breakfast that kept me fueled during a beautiful hike. I would happily stay there again.

Conlyn house is a beachfront property located in Newcastle, 70 metres from Newcastle Beach and 21 km from Down Cathedral. The view was amazing! Maria herself was very helpful and attentive

Set in Newcastle in the Down County region, Castle Corrigs House offers accommodation with free WiFi. Great location. If you like a short/medium walk, you can walk into town. Parking was easy.

Tollyrose Country House is set a few minutes’ walk from Tollymore Forest Park. The family-run bed and breakfast is located next to the Mourne Mountains. We had a phantastic stay! Helen was really friendly and helpful, we felt at home right away. The room was spacious, spottles clean with a really comfortable bed. The breakfast was outstanding, probably the best we had during our two week stay (and the others weren't bad either ;) ). Just acroos the street there is an entrance to the beautiful Tollymore Forest Park.

Offering a garden and sea view, Greencastle B&B is set in Kilkeel, 48 km from Proleek Dolmen and 49 km from Louth County Museum. Amazing views, clean and cozy rooms and a delicious breakfast

Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Cherryhill Lodge is situated in Newcastle, 1.6 km from Newcastle Beach and 23 km from Down Cathedral. Our room had the best shower we have had in 7 weeks of travel. Water was hot, easy to operate and had a massive rose to stand under. Patricia and John were very friendly and chatty and helped us with some suggestions for our stay

Located in Rostrevor, Seaview Guesthouse offers en-suite accommodation with free WiFi access throughout. Location location location. And what simply lovely hosts. The main and real reason for staying, and returning once again in the future to stay, at Seaview were the warm and very hospitable hosts -- you don't find that many places these days with this special and very unusual personal touch. They were such fine people Martina and Brendan. We did not have a vehicle and their son Patrick dropped my daughter and I to a restaurant for dinner and Brendan took us all the way to the train station two towns away and stopped to allow me to pick up a gift from the gift shop. He provided onward travel suggestions and gave us a little tour with lots of quaint details on the way to the station. The room and bathroom was sumptuously comfortable. Breakfast excellent and as requested. Martina and Brendan have invested time and care in making sure every detail was just right from the welcoming cookies to where you might have your tea to little signs and notes on where things can be found. We had no real reason for visiting Rostrevor on our holiday in Northern Ireland in May 2022 but Seaview was in the the reason to visit. Peaceful, so beautiful and wonderful hospitality.
