I enjoyed my stay immensely. Ollie was super welcoming and I felt comfortable from the first moment. The rooms and beds are big enough and have a homely feel to them. The breakfast is insanely good. Would recommend everything but definitely try the porridge with whisky, honey and cream. I'll definitely be back whenever I visit Edinburgh. Location is near the tram as well.

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on.
Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue.
Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

Everything about the accommodation was excellent. Very easy to communicate with owners from time of booking till when we were leaving. The hotel is very good value for Edinburgh but isn't luxury accommodation. That said, my room was spacious and comfortable and cleaned very well every day. The tram to the city centre is 5 minutes walk away. The proprietor was very helpful. The area it's situated in is quiet and pleasant as it overlooks Links Gardens.
Great location fromm city centre if you're happy with a 25ish minute walk. Also on an easy, regular bus route. Quiet room which was very clean with all good amenities. Great shower, hot water, view of the garden and very reasonable price. Would stay again without hesitation

It was perfect for me and my daughter, we had our own bedroom and bathroom and it was all comfy and luxury. Great views and great location. It felt quiet and safe and 100% would stay here again when I next come to Edinburgh. Host was lovely and couldn't have asked for more. Great location, the city center was reachable on foot (walking took about 25 minutes). Fantastic dorm service, staff have always been extremely helpful and friendly. It's a dormitory, so you can't expect luxury, but we had a clean, comfortable room, access to the kitchen and a private bathroom. I heartily recommend.
We took 6 bed rooms apartment, which means each one of us had a private double room. Many towels (as full capacity is 12 people). Rooms are clean and tidy. Reception are kind and welcoming. 15 minutes of easy walking to city center. Quiet area and a canal to run, walk or bike 50 meters from the property. Taxi to airport are cheap. Definitely will consider to come again next time in this lovely city!
Individual boutique hotel in an interesting historic building with lots of traditional features- felt like you were in Edinburgh. The suite was really big and comfy with a fab roll top bath. Great location as tucked away in a quiet street but a short walk to the city centre.
