Our room and bathroom were great and furnished with a great eye for detail and an understanding of what travellers appreciate when they look for a home away from home. The breakfasts were tailored to individual needs and simply scrumptious, thanks to Claire. We'll definitely come back to Balmridge House when we travel this area of Scotland again. All rooms offer view over Loch Ness. We immediately fell in love with this B&B. What a lovely place, sweet owner and great care! We loved the breakfast with homemade jams and other goodies. Everything is neat, beautiful and surrounded by great garden and nature.

The Bed and breakfast rooms are fitted with facilities for making tea and coffee, and there is a self-catering service in the Mac Kenzie Suite. Ann was a great hostess! She was so patient when I arrived very late. Breakfast was way more than I expected. Fresh squeezed OJ and perfect soft boil eggs. The bathroom seemed new. Parking lot was ample and she helped with ideas and directions. Lovely.

We arrived at night so we called Margie to let her know we're running late on our check-in, Margie was very hospital and explained how to get there, Margie and Hugh's place is all hand made by them and eco-friendly, it's definitely a sight to see! The place is very quiet and secluded but just a small drive away from loch Ness and alot of beautiful sights. Margie made us the most lovely vegan breakfast for our demand, after we set and had a fun chat. Hope to come and visit again!
