Situated in rural Herefordshire the views from the property were exceptional. The facilities were first class and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was as if you were in a top hotel and served by our lovely hosts. Excellent places to eat locally in the evening and within easy striking distance of Hereford.

A wonderfully comfortable and quiet cottage stay with a sumptuous breakfast that accommodated us vegetarians and powered our hike for the day! Isabelle was great and the night we stayed she kindly picked us up from Kington which we'd reached after a days' walk on Offa's Dyke and saved my feet as I'd rolled my ankle on the way! Super comfy beds and shower and an evening herbal tea was so appreciated. Lyonshall is about 45 mins/1 hour walk out of down along a stream, it was a bit difficult to find the right route the next day but once we did we joined back up with the Dyke path easily.

Truly lovely staff who had gone out of their way for us and there was some special cider left in our room and a cider cake for our honeymoon. All in all couldnt be better! Stunning location also, very peaceful.
