My husband said it was one of the most comfortable beds he has ever slept in. We were only there one night but everything was great and breakfast included so exceptional value.

Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

Each stylish room has fresh light décor. The room was big enough, clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any request we had. Absolutely recommended. The location is perfect because the bus stop to Windermere and the city centre was 2 mins away.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels.

Bowness-On-Windermere's quaint shops and restaurants are just a short walk from The Westbourne. Free parking is available. Sue & Andre were exceptional hosts & presented accomodation that was very comfortable, providing everything we needed. Central location in easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants, the lake & pier. On-site easy parking was a bonus. Andre helped us with walking options, Elterwater & the Langdale valley were a photographers dream. Thanks so much for adding to my memorable holiday with my daughter.

Original Victorian period features adorn the property, which also offers a cosy lounge. Lovely and central, very clean and very friendly, breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and the hosts were very friendly could not find a fault at all would definitely stay there again.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. It offers vintage-style, luxury accommodation including Egyptian cotton linens, flat-screen TVs with DVD players, as well as free Wi-Fi. Rooms were small, but very clean and comfortable. The staff and the breakfast were both excellent.
