The host is great and amazingly helpful, the breakfast was luxurious and filling, a great way to start your day.

Our best stay in Spain so far! In the midst of beautiful mountains the hotel has amazing views. The rooms are clean. The staff is really friendly. Best of all, you have free breakfast. This place is worth it for people hiking in Picos de Europa or visiting the towns.
La Hermida

Gorgeous surroundings in remote location, but excellent lodging— **** comfort! And the family owned hotel is run by a charming couple and their daughter. Very authentic Asturias!

Great place to rest after a long hike. We appreciated a heating racks (you need to switch them on by yourself but very well working even in the summer) so you can dry your wet cloths. We've walked in the rain so it was perfect. Same with hot bean soup which was superb! Stuff was really helping and charming.
Potes
Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Villa Elena is located in a quiet area of Potes in the Cantabria Region, 3.2 km from Santo Toribio de Liebana Monastery. Free private parking is available on site. The place, the host, the breakfast were all amazing. I highly recommend this place. What a lovely surprise!
La Vega
At the guest house, each unit has a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. At the guest house, the units have bed linen and towels. Very friendly, very cosy rooms, nice garden next to a little river. The rooms got tidied up every morning. There is a restaurant 150 m away which serves very good food for little money.

For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. Posada El Azufral features free WiFi . Beautiful location, basic but charming and clean room, quiet and quaint. Dinner was good. Super friendly and accommodating staff. We stayed in 9 hotels during our trip, including a Ritz Carlton in Portugal, and this place was our favorite!

Charming hotel. Great place to stay to explore the Picos. Very quiet location
The location was great with a lovely view over the river and valley. The apartment is joined to the main house but felt very private and not overlooked at all. Parking was very secure, being inside the property boundary. Very quiet at night. Local amenities (groceries, fuel) were all within 1 km. Lots of local walking options. Fuente Dé with cable car access to the higher ground is only a short distance away. Spotlessly clean! Host very welcoming and helpful.
Great location close to the trail and other restaurants, family-feel, friendly hosts when sighted, restaurant attached (although it wasn't open because it was Monday), cheap price.
First time visiting the area and here we found a pair of friendly and professional hostesses who made our stay a pleasure. Comfortable and clean rooms, lovely home cooked breakfast and great location, not too remote but secluded and private at the same time.

Very quiet, tranquil setting with amazing mountain views. Cosy wood-panelled room, very clean and well-equipped. Personal and friendly service, with fresh scrambled eggs for breakfast. The restaurant wasn't open for dinner but there are a couple of places to eat in the village, and a bakery where it's possible to buy snacks etc. Great location to start/finish La Ruta del Cares or hike up to Collado Jermoso.

It's a small boutique hotel situated at the foot of a trail leading up to the monastery. Very quaint and quiet with a nice yard outside and a view of the monastery. If you want to get away from the crowds then this is the place. The bed is comfortable and the room size was good for 2 people. We had room 2 which had a nice view of the monastery. Body wash and soap is available Jorge was friendly enough and check in went smoothly.
Great location. Walking to Canga de Onis is lovely. Perfect for touring the Picos and visiting Covadonga. Very quiet, very well equipped and clean. Best shower yet. Luis is a great host with excellent English. He gave us routes for walking locally. Private car park.
