She also cooks delicious pastries for breakfast, which is also made of salty food (and with local dried sausages 😋). The lady is a grandmother, you can even meet her family at some point of the day.. they're lovely people, very welcoming! Also, talking about the room: quiet, with a good bed: it is a simple place, where you feel cosy!

The bed and breakfast is a short walk from Girona’s pretty squares, where there is a selection of cafés, bars and restaurants. The friendliness and helpfullness of Javi and Olga made our stay even more pleasant. We had the corner room with the two balconies - lovely room (quite big) with a view onto the Ramblas as well as a partial view of the river . The big bed was excellent! Although we had a shared bathroom, we never had to wait to access the bathroom as most of the time we shared with only one other room . Breakfast was adequate. There was always a bucket with cold beer and water available during the day for Euro 1 each . You could help yourself and pay Javi or Olga in the morning. The location is very central to the Old part and it took us less then 15 minutes to walk to the station . There is a kettle and toaster and microwave that you can make use of during your stay . We enjoyed our stay and will repeat. Thank you Javi and Olga!

Pension Ciudadela guest house is opposite Barcelona’s França Train Station and 100 metres from Ciudadela Park. It offers basic air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, and private bathroom facilities.

All rooms at the Ciudadela are heated, and there is a TV. Most rooms have a work desk and a private balcony. Wow. I almost don't want to leave a rating so I can stay here without it being fully booked. What a hidden barcelona treasure. Perfect location, incredibly comfy rooms, great amenities and kitchen. I had no idea there was a hotel in this area. Everything was perfect

Pensió Bellmirall is located in the centre of Girona’s Old Town, just 100 metres from the cathedral. The simple rooms have private bathrooms, and there is a free Wi-Fi hotspot.

During the summer, breakfast is served on the terrace. In winter, it is served in the charming dining room. There is a bar service, and guests can relax in the garden. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. They gladly take the time to introduce you to the city and the hotel which is located in the heart of the old town. During breakfast, it is possible to have fresh orange juice and "pa amb tomàquet" served. I loved the way they managed to keep the old Catalan charm!

At the guest house, all units include bed linen and towels. I really enjoyed the property, I was especially impressed when I was feeling ill from travelling how accommodating the staff were. In addition I may have had a flight delay and I was given comfort to come back to the hotel and figure out my next steps in the worst case. As a girl travelling alone, it meant I was safe. If you want to see what locals eat and what Catalan food is like, I highly recommend trying the restaurant's food too.

The property also offers accommodation for disabled guests. Fantastic staff and welcome, brilliant value for money, real Spanish experience and superb value for money. Authentic Spanish restaurant downstairs serving real cuisine at great prices. Best Paella we have had for a long time. Looking for a one/two night stopover then fully recommend Manel and his family residence.
