Each of the 10 pretty rooms at B&B Cuenca has attractive, colourful décor. The private bathroom includes free toiletries. Rooms look onto the old town, the former city gates, Mangana Tower, Paseo del Júcar or a patio. The property is nicely decorated, the rooms are very spacious and offer all the comforts. The place is immaculately clean and well placed. The owners were very accommodating of my gluten allergy, and even made sure to be ready with gluten-free bread for me alone in the morning, so lovely.

A continental breakfast is served daily, and the hotel has a cafeteria. La Campana's restaurant serves set menus and tasty traditional dishes with a modern twist. A nice stay. Very good breakfast (not included in the price). Very engaged owners. As recommendation to reach by bus: there is bus line L12 from Calle Carrera (500m from Renfe main station) to Plaza del Conde (100m from hostal).

Century Muslim Palace. Located in the centre of Toledo old town, near the Cathedral. It is on one of the main streets used by anyone wishing to fully visit the city. It has ten rooms with en-suite bathroom, air conditioning throughout the hotel, TV, telephone, and e-mail service. We are equipped to be turned into a four star hotel but listed as a Hostel. There is a gift shop, in addition to the Support from the crew! Warm, pleasant, helpful, guessing what you need before you word it. Incredible historical architecture and items in the room and elsewhere. Location - we could see the entrance to the Toledo Cathedral from our windows (Cisneros room)!!! And now the bed - huge, heavenly comfortable mattress and matching pillows. Still more - the terrace with views of both the Cathedral and Alkazar, especially enchanting in the night when lillumination is on (it goes off 11 pm sharp so plan things accordingly). Views in the morning are great as well when it's sunny.

La Posada de Manolo features free WiFi throughout the property. The owners they make it really easy (we arrived late but they arranged everything). The location is really central, and even so being a historic city, is possible to park on a garage no too far away. The terrace for breakfast is great!

At the bed and breakfast, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. We arrived extremely tired after a long drive from Portugal . The house was warm, cosy, extremely well furnished, the bedroom/ shower area are open to each other, after 57 years of marriage this was no problem! The shower was like a therapy session, hot and relaxing. Breakfast was self service with plenty of selection, cereals, ham serrano, toast, marmalades, and a huge selection of teas and a coffee maker. In summer the outside area would be excellent.
