Excellent beds and warm bedding. Great shower with plenty of hot water. The pool, jacuzzi and steam bath were an awesome plus. The look of the lake and mountains is unparalleled. Breakfast was awesome. Beautiful place and great value.

Not only is the hostel in a beautiful location with many amenities for an affordable price but the family that runs the hostel quickly became a family I could call my own. José, Matilde, Inti, and Joselito are all such kind and personable people - I was here during Inti Raymi and José invited me to join for a ritual bathing ceremony practiced by many of the indigenous people, and explained the significance of it all. Beyond the hospitality, the rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable and if you want it, single rooms are very affordable. On top of this, Inti offers a taxi service (well known as the ‘Inti Taxi’ haha) and can bring you wherever you need! During one of my days here I took the ‘Inti Taxi’ to El Lechero and the Condor Park and Inti was able to share tons of information about these places. This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking to visit and immerse yourself in the Otavaleño culture. I also learned some Kichwa from the family as well.

They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

The nearest airport is Quito Mariscal Sucre International, 150 km from the bed and breakfast, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. what a hidden treasure! we loved the sound of the river and falling asleep so easily. the included breakfast was fresh and delicious. at night we took dinner here and Curtis the chef made amazing dishes. we even stayed longer than was planned, because we love the house and the food so much. they have amazing dogs and cats as well who are so adorable.

Chris and Gaby are amazing , very helpful and informative of places to go see. Also recommend their driver Edwin who took us to see great places around there. Recommend to all family and friends.

He knows the area well and is happy to give some tips as well as a lot of people to arrange the tours from the property. The dinner (not included) was home made and delicious, and next to the chemney. Overall very nice stay but too short (one night).
