I’m very thankful for the fresh glutenfree sandwiches I got every morning. ☺️ Upon our arrival, we received free tickets from Ben, so we were able to freely use the public transport during our whole staying. Really practical, since there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And Cochem is just a 9 minutes bus ride away. Ernst was a perfect location from which we could easily travel and visit other villages allong the Moselle region. We enjoyed our vacation and will certainly come back to this hotel!

The breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented with fresh warm baked bread rolls. Bright, clean accommodation with small balcony. Fridge provided also in room. Superb value for money. Already recommended to German friends.

The warm, friendly welcome and the fact that the owners were so kind and obliging. The breakfasts were outstanding and we would highly recommend Gasthaus Fohr.

We also had a shared terrace with the other room and the view from there was fantastic. We enjoyed tasting the wine produced by the family. Excellent breakfast.

The host was readily available to help us enter the apartment and store our bikes in a secure garage. The room was large, well equipped for us to eat breakfast in the room, and large windows we could open for fresh air. Across the street from this room is the Mosel River, and the docked Roman Wine boat. We weren't in town on the day of it's public use, but it was exciting just to see it from our window! We could easily walk to the store for groceries, and the main restaurants in town are just along the same road as this lodging. This is a sleepy little town, but became my favorite of our travels just for it's peaceful setting, and somewhat natural display of it's Roman history. We would love to have stayed an extra night to enjoy the rest here.

The property has garden views, and is 50 km from Castle Eltz. The bed and breakfast features mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. One of the best place to stay if looking for short break. Clean, great location, exceptional service and experience. In overall outstanding place by all means, staff/ facility /comfort / and even in this period of year with amazing view – it was exactly what I was looking for. For sure I will come back again!
