The breakfast was very good, with bread (rolls), cold cuts, cheese, jam etc. Allover an excellent experience (for the second time).

All rooms at the Gersbacher Hof feature Black Forest-style interiors with modern satellite TV and en suite bathrooms. Most have a private balcony, which provides views of the surroundings. Arrived late after a long day of hiking in rain from Titisee so the kitchen was closed but the owner was very friendly af offered us cheese, fruit ond bread without extra charge. On top of that he prepared the sauna (also for free) at he could see we were cold an tired. The breakfast was also excellent. Overall we can highly recommend this hotel

I had a very relaxing stay at a very charming Black Forest location. The staff were very accomodating. The food was absolutely delicious.

We enjoyed the conversations we had with her and the many tips she gave us about the beautiful region. The rooms are large and comfortable. The terrace we had was also large, had a stunning view on the valley and mountains, and provided plenty of shade on hot days (or cover on rainy ones). We found ourselves spending a lot of time on this terrace, resting after a great day of hiking :). Also during our stay the rooms were really taken care of. We noticed that our beds were made daily, bins were emptied, windows were opened, towels changed, etc. Again, this gave us a welcome feeling. Breakfast was fantastic, and there was variation every day.

In addition, Lesley is so accommodating that if there was anything else you wanted -- like an occasional egg -- she was happy to provide it. Location within the town was perfect -- although Wieden itself is a bit remote (see below). That said, the countryside around Wieden is beautiful and restful.
