The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. Very cozy, welcoming, clean, the big room, the decoration of the room, the hot shower. Everything was wonderful!

There is also a well-fitted kitchen in some of the units equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, and a fridge. At the guest house, all units are allergy-free. It was very clean and nice and warm. Shared Kitchen is the best.

Beautiful view from the window, the room is spacious and clean, warm even during the freezing night temperatures outside. In the morning, they prepared a massive, delicious breakfast. The bed was super soft and fluffy, which is not to my liking, but my partner loved it. The bus stop is close by, and the walk from the train station around the lake was just stunning. We took our car there but must be quite accessible with public transport. The parking is available on the property. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. We also loved meeting their family dog, Stella who welcomed us when we arrived. Easy to catch transportation to and from Zugspitze.

All rooms at Pension Bavaria are furnished in modern style, and decorated in warm colours. They include cable TV, a balcony, and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Pension Bavaria is a hidden gem. We were received by our host Benny with warmth and kindness. The room was very comfortable and we had a view of the surrounding mountains from the many windows. Every morning we were greeted with a fine German breakfast and a smiling Benny who chatted with every guest showing interest in what they did and what they planned for the day. He was full of detailed information of every hiking trail which can be done in the area. The location of the Pension is ideal as one can start the walk from there. We look forward to stay there again !

Family-run and in its 4th generation, the accommodation prides itself on originality, its typical Bavarian architecture and its use of natural materials. Rooms are cosily decorated with wooden furnishings and include satellite TV, a safe, fridge and a private bathroom with rain shower. Most rooms have a private balcony. I enjoyed my stay at Mammhofer Suites very much -- the suite was large, lovely, and very modern and comfortable, although the facility retains it's beautiful historical appearance. My host was also very helpful, and the location can't be beat -- 5 minutes from downtown and the Passion Play Theater. Despite it's proximity to downtown Oberammergau, the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, and the views from my room and patio were gorgeous. I hope to return for another stay.
