The Hotel Föhrenhof Garni is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. Good location. Staff very friendly .excellent breakfast.

The host was very accommodating and worked with me despite the packed schedule. While I didn't give location the most it is still a fantastic location overall.

The bed was super soft and fluffy, which is not to my liking, but my partner loved it. The bus stop is close by, and the walk from the train station around the lake was just stunning. We took our car there but must be quite accessible with public transport. The parking is available on the property. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. We also loved meeting their family dog, Stella who welcomed us when we arrived. Easy to catch transportation to and from Zugspitze.
