This second generation family-run guest house is located in Heimbach-Hasenfeld. Free parking spaces are provided directly in front of Pension Dabrunz. Top service, superclean, excellent B&B. Also very nice garden with garden furniture.

Pension Zum alten Rathaus is located in Schleiden-Gemünd, 37 km from Aachen and 46 km from Bonn. Each room is fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Stay: April 23 to 24 2024. This is a cool small "pension" is the heart of Gemünd, in the outskirts of the Eifel National Park. With a parking lot across the street, things are made easy for those traveling by car. With a small number of rooms, the hearty breakfast was understandably not a buffet style but plentiful being brough to your assigned table (it was nice to have the breakfast included option). Frau Margot weas very kind and helpful. The room, bed and bathrooms were very comfortable with everything needed for a good rest after a day of hiking or travel. Very nice and clear wood floors, with a tray at the room entrance inviting guests to leave their shoes/boots there, keeping the room clean.

The bed was really comfortable. and they are quite environmental friendly. They use rainwater for toilet flushing and only provide hot water in the morning for shower. The breakfast was amazing. and even we got cute accompany: his cats 😸 it was a very pleasant stay!

Centrally located in the town of Monschau, Hotel Royal is surrounded by the scenic backdrop of the Rurtal. In summer guests can relax on the outside terrace. We saw personal only where they were needed: minimal check-in procedures, breakfast and pretty informal check-out. All formalities were really quick and minimal. Reception was actually in the next cafe building. I think during the high season they have everything (there is a place for the keys keeper and so on) but around the low season it is just not needed. On the other side - we did not need any help - everything was just working: single key for entrance and room (I know those systems), well maintained locks, clean minimalistic room (but space was pretty enough). Room had 3 outlets (one right near the bed). There was an additional pillow, standard set of towels, minimal things for the bath, paper - everything very pragmatic and to the point. We loved this approach. Breakfast - buffet, not huge variety but enough. For us it was perfectly fine. And location is just perfect.

The breakfast room and choise of the food was light, but great and wide, especially good for those who came to hike in nearby forest and national parks.
