The Hotel Föhrenhof Garni is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. We arrived very late at night and phoned to say we wouldn’t be in until closer to 11pm. They could not have been more accommodating and even insisted on giving the four of us our choice of cake, complimentary, before going to our rooms. Fabulous!
