At the bed and breakfast, each unit has bed linen and towels. The owners have been friendly and super helpful & accomodating. The kitchen was free to use and well equipped. The garden was just beautiful and a good place to watch all kinds of birds. The hotel is up a hill in the middle of the rainforest which is lovely. This was the perfect start to out trip in costa rica! Thank you so much!

Lajuela BnB & Hostel is set in Alajuela City, 30 km from Poas National Park, less than 1 km from Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium, as well as 8.2 km from Parque Viva. During your time staying in this recently renovated bed and breakfast, dating back to 2000, you will have access to free WiFi. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. This was my second time staying with Laura. As always she was the best.

We stayed in the tent, which had a double bed and fan, with great views.
I wanted an A-frame but they were all gone, but I think I much prefer the tent as you had all the fresh air blowing through.
Breakfast was included and was delicious with fresh fruit juice.
Bathrooms were very clean, kitchen well equipped.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is a family run business and they are the nicest people. It is not a fancy resort but is comfortable and clean. The pool is a great place to cool off. They have a nice outdoor sitting area and a feeding station where a lot of birds come to feed. They also make good food.

Fantastic location—close to the city center yet free from noise and traffic. The views of the volcano from both the room and the hotel are spectacular. We loved having our own private pool! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with booking tours and ensuring we had the best experiences. Although there's no on-site restaurant, the staff recommended excellent nearby dining options. Highly recommend for anyone visiting La Fortuna! I will definitely go back :)
Nice little boutique hotel in a great location, close to the airport. We only spent one night there. Although many of the rooms are adjacent to the shared kitchen and dining area, the evening and night were very quiet. The room was equipped with everything we needed. Thankfully, we received lots of helpful tips from Esteban. Great price-performance ratio!
This place was sow relaxed, with a jungle and private river in your backyard. We saw even a sloth in the backyard. We loved it! 45 min walk from the city center La Fortuna, but perfect with an Uber and a supermarket and restaurants in 10 min walk. So you don’t have to be in the busy city centre.
Great location in a safe/quiet neighbourhood very close to the airport. We had a spare afternoon so walk into the Alajuela town centre which has a lot of history. Breakfast was superb. Fresh fruit, eggs, toast and as much Costa Rican coffee as you like. Rooms were a good size and shower was hot and had good power.
This was absolutely perfect. It’s very clean and charming, I felt safe and the staff were wonderful. breakfast is basic but I was happy with it. I don’t understand the negative reviews here… seems like people expect the Hilton… well, it’s not that. And if that’s what you want maybe don’t book a cheaper bed and breakfast? It was everything I needed for my shorty stay. Muchas gracias
Location is quiet but only few min walk from the city centre and local bus terminal. The place is clean and looks cute with the little lights. At night its very quiet excl the beds. Its super cheap. If you like it, they have a whatsapp group and do a lot of group activities. The staff was helpful when asked.

Great location in the city center but still with private parking (quite narrow but manageable), nice and helpful owner, was no problem to stay longer in the hotel as we had a late flight. We had a room with private terrace, bathroom and AC. Nice pool area. Really good price value.
