I m very picky , and I really love this place. The price (about 100US$) is the good one compare to the price of many terrible hostels of the island.

Located in Valparaíso, 1.6 km from Las Torpederas Beach, Hostal lala porteña vista al mar, baño privado y desayuno provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Guests can have a drink at the bar. Lala porteña is a nice house on a hill, a bit away from the main tourist drag. I had a rental car so getting around was very easy, but Valparaíso buses are efficient and Google maps public transport option will tell you which route to take. The room was nice and airy, with a comfortable bed. But really what makes this place are the hosts! Luz and Tulio are lovely people who made me feel like I was a visiting relative rather than a tourist in a hotel! The breakfast with the home made bread was a great touch too. Easily my favorite stay in Chile!
