Ideal for day trips (by train) to better-known places in the surroundings for visits to mountain tops by cable car, especially if you have some kind of train pass or a reduction ticket. This hotel is fairly old with quaint decor. I picked it mainly because of the value for money. As I was traveling on Interrail, I could use this town as a base for day trips by train to more interesting (sorry) places. I especially liked walking the Schöllenen Gorge (from Andermatt) and going by cable car up to the Eggishorn (from Fiesch), both a short train ride away.

Location was amazing and extremely convenient to do all kind of hiking trips. It is an excellent base camp. The staff is super friendly and treats you like family.

Located in Reckingen in the Goms Valley, Hotel Blinnenhorn enjoys a sunny location with panoramic mountain views at 1,300 metres above sea level.

All rooms are furnished in a traditional Valais style and offer satellite TV, a safe, and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Everything was fantastic, staff were friendly and very helpful from the moment we arrived until we left the next morning. Rooms were fantastic, super comfy bed, very clean and modern decor and lots of power points for charging gadgets. Food was amazing and the local beer was very good too. I would definitely stay here again.

The best part is of course the view from the room. Incredibly beautiful mountains, forest and small houses of the village Fiesch. Very friendly staff who, at any request, could always help and provide everything you need. Everything is fine, everyone liked it. My personal advice is to add scrambled eggs to your breakfast if possible. So, 10/10

The bed and breakfast features some units with mountain views, and every unit is fitted with a private bathroom. Absolutely recomendable, no frills hotel. I got the single room, which has a bed and a desk and a decent bathroom. If youre looking for a simple room for a couple of days, this is the place you want to stay. They have extra ammenities (pool?) wchih i didnt use. Location wise is decent (15 minutes to the cable car). They also let me park my motorcycle under a roof nearby.
