Not only that, it was only a short walk from places like the Bear Pit, Old Town, multiple viewpoints, and the river, or a short bus/tram journey to the main train station. I absolutely loved every minute of my stay here, and the host was absolutely lovely- even when I managed to have issues with the door at gone 10pm, she was nothing but helpful and kind! I couldn't recommend staying here more, it truly felt like a home away from home. I can't understand how it isn't fully booked constantly! (My second night, I was the only one there!) If you're looking for a place to stay in Bern, honestly look no further!

The room I stayed in is very spacious and clean, as is the bathroom (which is shared with the other room; in my case there were no other guests, so it was all to myself). There is also a room where you can get coffee, tea, water and chocolates. The breakfast is excellent: continental; among other things, I enjoyed homemade jams and fresh bread and brioche. If I return to Bern, this will be my first choice of accommodation. Also highly recommended for the quality/price ratio of lodgings in Bern.

I chose the breakfast drop off and it was so lovely waking up and having a nice light euro breakfast on my door! also train station to get to Bern is 500m away so very nice place to stay if you do not have car or bike. loved the HUGE closet and shower! also the hair dryer was very nice. all the small details were so wonderful. even had a tan for the warm July weather!
