We stayed in The Robin’s Nest - it was homely, clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the decor, and the laid back atmosphere of the guesthouse - an honesty box, interesting artwork, games, nice communal places to sit - the Adirondack chairs on the porch were lovely. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful; guests sat together and chatted. Montgomery is a delightful place - we enjoyed the hospitality at the Irish pub, just a short stroll away. Our stay was so relaxing - we only stayed for one night, on our tour of the Catskills. Next time, when we visit New York again, we hope to stay longer.

Interesting historic inn in the Hudson highlands. Very nicely preserved and maintained. Room was comfortable, quiet, clean, well appointed. Everything works properly (not always assured in these very old inns!).
Breakfast excellent: custom cooked on the spot; nice airy dining room. Very close to Storm King Arts Center.

The beds were very comfortable, good bathroom and very clean. The location is quiet, away from the road. Staff were fantastic and catered for all our request, even the last minite changes. Appreciated the free ice on every floor. It was a great and comfortable stay for a 2-star hotel.
As hiking approaching Appalacian trail was this a great location with a nice little town and lake near by. We "only" rate it 8 because of the room was in basement w/o any view. The owner served us 2 awesome breakfasts
