Very friendly welcome by Mariah and David. Peaceful located farm, quaint log cabin rooms. All very tidy, well kept. Sitting on the lawn with a sundowner beverage made our day. The breakfast was home cooked, tasty and filling. Excellent coffee!!!

Our room at Retreat on the Lake was absolutely perfect. The room was large, the beds very comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were great. We were surprised how quiet the road was. The location is perfect - just across from places like Tilted Cafe and Ingles Market, with lots of other amenities nearby too. We spoke with Chris on the phone as we hadn't received our door details (due to me having an international phone) and he was lovely - polite and helpful.

The breakfast that Linda served us both days was delicious. Linda is a gracious host. She is willing to go above and beyond to make your visit pleasant and very special. Linda provided some amenities special for us just because it was our anniversary. The private spa adjacent to our room was amazing.

The facility was advertised as a bed and breakfast so we were looking forward to a cook to order breakfast but was told it was a continental breakfast so we ate at MvDonalds. The bed was very uncomfortable. It was not what we expected at all.

Linda was our Hostess with the Mostest! She was very accommodating, professional and personable! We will highly recommend her to our family and friends! Linda served us an incredible breakfast and she made sure that we didn’t have any food allergies. Also, the private area of the Spa was exceptional with a sauna, hot tub, massage room and another shower! The bedroom, full restroom and spa were spotless! We will seen you again, soon! Thank You so Much! Bob& Phyllis

We loved how quaint the lodges were. The breakfast was adequate with choices of cereals, bagels, muffins, cakes, fruit, along with tea/coffee available all day and fruit juices for breakfast. The decor was in keeping with the hotel and was kept very clean at all times. Lovely lounge area with roaring fireplace. Staff were always very friendly and on hand if you needed anything. Location was perfect for our son at Young Harris College. Views were amazing We will definitely be returning.

My wife and I had an amazing couples yoga session with Linda. Excellent breakfast, fresh fruit with waffles bacon and maple syrup. Amazing facilities with a relaxing spa room with sauna and hot tub (I didn't use the hot tub). Good rural location. Linda is a superb hostess and you feel like you are staying with family. Linda will also give you good recommendations about great places to eat and excellent places to visit. Anyone visiting, make sure to get booked in with Linda for yoga and enjoy a good sauna or hot tub!
