I love the historical elements and that it’s downtown. The bed and breakfast feel is awesome. The home is gorgeous and it does take you back in time. The convenience and value sold us. They had a band Friday night and a dj Saturday night at the lounge. Breakfast was included and they gave us two drink tickets and koozies! Plus, we used it as a venue 12yrs ago for our wedding so we have memories and a history there.
We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back again! This bed and breakfast is truly a jewel in the south!!! The breakfast was amazing, the bedroom we had was clean and filled with beautiful antique furniture. The whole building was beautiful ! It was a walk back in time...
Diana, one of the owners was fabulous!!! She gave us a walking history tour which was so interesting! Thank you Diana and your staff for a memorable and fun experience. Recommend this place to anyone who loves history and southern hospitality!!!
Location is somewhere out in the fields. Still shops and eating places within 5-10 minutes by car. Very quiet. Ample parking. TV with good program guide. Complimentary breakfast is very good but with some strange food choices, e.g. no bread, no toast.
