Gorgeous location, great for catching sunset, right across the road from the porto moniz natural pools. Within walking distance of lots of nice restaurants (lapa bay round the corner had great options!). Staff were friendly. Bedroom itself was a little dated and lacked some amenities but the bathroom was nice. Fairly basic accomodation but did what we needed it to do.

First of all I loved the location - quiet, peaceful and with a beautiful view of the sea. Property itself is amazing, very well maintained and it was recently renovated. Our apartment was very spacious and well equipped and not to mention sparkling clean. The owner and staff were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was very good and Teresa, the owner would make eggs the way you wanted.

Amazing staff, making all the effort to make you feel at home, and making sure you have a comfortable stay. Just an amazing place on the north side of the island to spend your holiday. We had a wonderful stay at Casa Do Joao da Eira. Rui has thought of all the little details necessary to make it feel like home. The location in Seixal is perfect for a quiet and relaxed getaway with enough amenities to ensure you have everything needed (including a small supermarket and restaurants) We are only sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

Incredible views of the bay and beach. A stone's throw from the beach and pier to swim off of. Very quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours and kittens next door. The apartment is new, with a wonderful balcony to sip coffee on and read. It has a smart TV to watch movies on a rainy day. Also very close to many good hikes, but I would suggest renting a car to get around.

Very small, quiet, only 4 rooms bed and breakfast place. Our room (no. 2) was nice, bright, clean and pretty big, as well as the bathroom (where we had NO trouble with hot water, which was mentioned in couple other reviews). It is only couple hundred metres away from the famous black-sand beach as well as from small supermarket and some restaurants. Very calm neighbourhood and great starting point for exploring the northern/western part of the island.
