I'm doing a series of articles on cycling in Portugal for several American magazines. Great location right in the heart of old town.but this also means finding the place can be a bit more complicated on small side streets.
Nice to have communal kitchen with a cool retro refrigerator.
Room overlooked side streets and provided cool vibe - including a view of the castle; and,. surprisingly, street noise was minimal. I did use ear plugs and eye covers. I think the room would probably be pretty hot in some months,.and not sure how good any AC is but, fortunately, didn't have to deal with it. Had a great conversation with manager of unit.oj everything from politics to life in general between our countries. He was also helpful in getting bicycle stored.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The hotel is located in a nice, quiet seaside town a step away from all the tourist.
The beach is great with the local restaurant by the beach (we went twice in one day!)
