Tranquility and privacy Highly recommended Landescape Furnas accomodation for its location, design and privacy.  The place is brand new, well equipped and modern. The team sends the notification with the pass code to enter the facilities. The apartment is thoughtfully designed, beds are comfortable. The breakfast items were sufficient and of a good quality: eggs, butter, milk, fruits, bread, juice, etc. Kitchenette has all necessary supplinces and even more than we expected.  The place is unique and beautiful. We enjoyed the swimming pool, sun terrace and views on the hills and green trees as it is located in the middle of nature.  The location is perfect if you would like to explore Furnas (near the Terra Nostra park) and the island.

The house was beautifully decorated with stylish furniture. The kitchen was immaculate and fully furnished with all amenities for cooking if you chose to do so. Room was good size with comfortable bed, nice furniture and amenities. Staff was kind, pleasant, efficient and always willing to help to make your stay the best possible. Would definitely highly recommend and return.

The location was beautiful and our host was warm friendly and extremely kind. During our stay at Pedro’s do Mar the night before our stay at Quinta de Santana, our daughter became violently I’ll after having eaten at Pedros do Mar’s restaurant. Pedros do Mar was unwilling to let us check out late but our host at Quinta de Santana came to our rescue and allowed us to check in early. We cannot thank him enough for his kindness. This speaks to the personal touch offered by an independently run business vs a corporate run hotel. I also appreciated our hosts ability to speak multiple languages. When my Portuguese failed my I could revert to English or French.

The house is situated in a unique and remote location next to lake Furnas, which is only accessible by a private (but well paved) access road. There is no other traffic. The house is right next to a popular walking route around the lake, which you can start and end from the accommodation. It's really quiet at night, and if the weather allows it, it is a great spot for stargazing! Furnas and its surroundings are easy to reach by car, Ponta Delgada is about 45 minutes from here. The house is generally well equipped (we just missed a washing machine), but there was no hot water kettle when we arrived for making tea. When we asked the host about it, a new kettle was delivered the same afternoon, which we really appreciated.

Rodrigo is an amazing host. We truly felt welcomed. He has a gentle and warm presence. He prepared a wonderful surprise for us on arrival: he gave us the room with the astonishing sea view, with a lot of privacy, instead of the one originally booked. The house is wonderful, the bed very comfortable, the breakfast tasty, the backyard having a breathtaking view. This accommodation is a true gem.

Everything about this stay was just perfect! Maria and Antonio are the perfect hosts - always smiling and giving us advices on what to visit and when. The kitchen is fully equipped and the room is very cozy and comfortable. The view out of the window into the greenery of their big garden is so relaxing, that you will never want to leave. Definitely recommend if you wanna stay out of the city and enjoy some quiet.
