This is our fourth visit to this well located quinta and, having booked late, could not get the full week we would have liked. Thank you Damiao and Luisa for your wonderful hospitality and breakfast, and we hope next time to book well enough in advance and come for a full week.

The place is absolutely wonderful and I wish we had stayed longer than just one night to enjoy better que quietness in the pool. We had a small wine tasting and we were very well received for the amazing staff, all very kind. The views are to die for, the wine is delicious and it was the best breakfast in our whole trip by far. They totally got my heart.

We were made so welcome by Manuel as soon as we arrived. It’s a beautiful, traditional family home The breakfast was delicious and the service very friendly. The attention to detail was exceptional, the gardens are beautiful, we loved the honesty bar by the pool and the welcome drink. The location was ideal for exploring the stunning Douro valley.

Huge and fantastic house in the center of the city. The house is just amazing, with 4 big and confortable rooms, a huge living room and meals room, a small tv room and a big kitchen. The 2 bathroons are very very good. The views are very nice, the house is quiet and very near the center of the city. Keep in mind that the house is in the higher part of town, so when returning from the river side you will need to walk uphill... but it is not that much and it is well worth it. Its a fantastic house.

Comfortable bed, well appointed room, lovely views, air con worked perfectly. Breakfast table was reserved for us in the pastelaria below the accommodation, a lovely continental platter placed on the table with coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Definitely one of most beautiful places I have ever seen. Big old house made of stones surrounded by flowers, winyards and gardens. Breathtaking wiew of Douro and the hills covered by winyards. The place is extremely quiet and friendly. Everything was clean and very cosy. Very good breakfast made partially from their own products. You can buy wine, which is also very good. Nobody speaks English, but you can easily communicate as the host family is very friendly.
The view of the Duoro River is spectacular from this little quaint
B & B. Location is perfect for day trips to the many port quintas along the river. Very comfortable bed and breakfast was wonderful.
Parking on site. Host was very nice.
Excellent breakfast, loved the walking trails in the area. Unfortunately it was raining a lot when we went, but there are kayaks that guests can take out. Loved the wine tour.
I liked: - the friendly, attentive host;
- the beautiful, charming old house;
- the wine tasting and the wine in the hotel room for an exceptional price;
- the view of the river and the hills;
- the stylish interior design;
- the curious dogs;
- the fresh, homemade breakfast;
- the pool area inviting to chill at;
- the quiet location;
- nice hotel guests.

Excellent breakfast served in a basket. We could enjoy it on our balcony with amazing views of the Douro (the highlight of this B& B
