This hotel exceeded all of our expectations! The design is stunning, both modern and elegant. The breakfast and dinner buffets were exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options. Our room was incredibly spacious and bright, and felt like a true sanctuary.
We have some dietary needs, and the chef went out of their way to accommodate us, creating some truly outstanding dishes that were even better than the standard menu items.

Breakfast was basic but the orange juice was freshly squeezed, coffee was strong and the cakes and breads were tasty. The property is dog-friendly, the rooms are air-conditioned, there is a swimming pool in the back, some rooms have a shared terrace and there is a enclosed courtyard also at the back to have breakfast. Location is great, its 5min walk to the main square.

The facility is in a historic villa, beautiful, and the rooms are very well maintained and clean. For us this was not a problem but keep in mind that there is no lift and some rooms are in the attic. You get in and out easily with the keys, the property is very quiet and the breakfast good. The owner is nice and very helpful.

We had one of the nicest stays in a long time at Pateo dos Solares (and we travel a lot). This boutique hotel stands out as the best we’ve ever experienced. We felt very privileged to spend the night in such a prestigious place, especially for such a reasonable price. The staff were exceptional, always friendly and ready to help with anything, always with a smile. The hotel was lovely and warm, providing a perfect contrast to the cold weather outside. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommend!

Very service-minded staff. A very charming hotel in old portuguese style good located in the city center. I had a big room for two nights. I am on a keto-diet. Breakfast lacked egg and bacon. But the staff provided that specially for me the next morning as they where informed about it! Very nice! WiFi was also good.

This is a perfect illustration of glamping done well! Great location, excellent facilities, all needed modern comfort (ie bathroom, a/c, wifi,...) with the amazing experience of looking at the stars all night long. The swimming pool atmosphere is quiet and you get a lot of privacy. The owners, Ana and Pedro, are extremely nice and welcoming. We will come back to glamping skies for sure.
