We liked everything. It is a wonderful, peaceful place to spend time at the ocean. There is everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The grocery shop is 10-15 min walk away. A few restaurants are around. The pool and the garden make the place a paradise. The hosts Domingos and Margarita make this place exceptional.

Amazingly peaceful getaway in a small town. Easy access to the beaches, lighthouse, cliffs and Sintra's palaces. The staff were lovely. The pool area is perfect to relax and unwind. Lovely simple breakfast served each morning with a few down the cliffs. Ducks and other animals roaming around the grassy area give it a very rustic vibe. The rooms are clean, modern and well sized.

Isabel and her family are so kind. They do everything to make you feel as comfortable as at your own home. Breakfast is great with various types of bread, so delicious. We booked a small room, but it’s cozy with comfortable bed and strong shower. The house is just a few minutes away from ocean. We did a day hike along the Atlantic coast, the view is amazing. The location is very convenient for self-driving to explore Sintra area.

Beautiful apartment in an old quinta. Magical atmosphere - there were azulejos in the room! Everything was clean and the host very nice. A tea kettle and a coffee maker. And Netflix! The old town is either 40 mins walk, mostly up the hill, or 7 mins by car (cheap Uber).

I had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and peaceful and very close to three beautiful beaches all of which can be reached on foot. The host is friendly and welcoming. I visited without a car, arriving via train from Lisbon to Portela de Sintra and then Uber / Bolt (around €10). There are also local buses that connect to the train. There are cafes and restaurants within walking distance, and wonderful hiking along the coast and in the forest. Highly recommended for singles, couples or families.
